Muriel White with her teddy bear
Every year, until 1915, Fred White took a photograph of
his daughter, Muriel, on her birthday in May. The teddy bear was found underneath a bed in 1992, soon after Muriel's death. Part of the bear's 'skin' was bare indicating, perhaps, how much cuddling the bear had received.
