Directions
Flintham, in Nottinghamshire, is just off the A46, mid-way between Newark and Bingham.
Road works on the A46 mean there is currently no access from the A46 to Flintham. From Nottingham, turn off the A46 at Car Colston and drive through Screveton. From Newark, turn off the A46 at Elston and follow the signs to Flintham. If you are travelling by the 90 bus, please contact the museum before you begin your journey. We will explain the details about the service which is currently not stopping at Flintham - you may prefer to wait a few weeks before you visit.
To find the museum when the road works have been completed, turn off the A46 on to the Inholms Road. Continue until you reach a bend. The primary school is on your left and the cemetery on your right. The museum is now in view on your right hand side. It is a small red brick and pantile building.
Parking is on the left hand side of the road.
Public transport is limited. However, there is a bus service from Nottingham to Newark on Sundays which runs along the A46. The museum is approx. half a mile from the main road.
